Environmental and Social Safeguards
Our works take place within communities. We apply the environmental, social and safety requirements of each Employer and funder.
Contractor's Environmental and Social Management Plan
We prepare and implement the Contractor's Environmental and Social Management Plan (C-ESMP) on projects where the Employer or funder requires it — notably those funded by the World Bank and UNICEF.
A dedicated team on those projects
On those projects, each work front has an environmental and social specialist, an occupational health and safety officer and a GBV/SEA/SH officer — gender-based violence, sexual exploitation and abuse, and sexual harassment.
Reporting and corrective action
We submit periodic environmental and social reports to the Employer. Non-conformities are handled in the client's format, with the corrective action recorded.
Worker insurance
Our workers are covered by occupational accident and disease insurance.
