Under the National Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Programme (PRONASAR), funded by the then DFID (now FCDO, United Kingdom), SC Nasser built 25 boreholes fitted with hand pumps in Meconta district for the Nampula Provincial Directorate of Public Works, Housing and Water Resources.
